Position Summary:
Our client, a four-star hotel in the heart of Arusha, is seeking a dedicated General Maintenance Staff member. The successful candidate will ensure that the hotel’s physical facilities, systems, and equipment are in excellent working order, providing a safe, comfortable, and functional environment for guests and staff. This role is critical for maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
System Maintenance- Inspect, maintain, and repair critical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
- Address issues such as leaking faucets, broken light fixtures, loose handrails, and damaged floors or walls.
- Ensure all appliances, kitchen equipment, and technical systems (e.g., TVs, Wi-Fi) are functioning correctly.
- Conduct routine checks and scheduled maintenance to prevent system failures and prolong asset life.
- Inspect guest rooms, common areas, and facilities to identify and resolve maintenance needs proactively.
- Assist with the installation of new systems and equipment, such as windows, light fixtures, or appliances.
Essential Skills & Qualities:
- Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of tools and equipment for repairs.
