Role Overview:
The Credit Manager will lead the credit department, oversee lending processes, and ensure a quality loan portfolio by monitoring disbursements, repayments, and compliance with policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, review, and improve credit policies and procedures.
- Evaluate creditworthiness of new and existing clients.
- Approve/reject loans in line with company policies.
- Monitor loan disbursement, repayment, and overdue accounts.
- Manage loan restructuring for bad debts.
- Ensure compliance with microfinance regulations.
- Supervise and monitor loan, recovery, risk, and marketing officers.
- Prepare and communicate credit performance reports (daily, weekly, monthly, annual).
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Strong leadership and analytical skills.
