Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) was established on the 1st July 1984 by the Parliamentary Act No.6 of the same year, which was repealed by the Universities ActNo.7 of 2005 from which the SUA Charter was granted i n 2007. The vision of the University is to be a leading University in the provision of quality knowledge, skills and innovations in agriculture and allied sciences.
