Job Title: Finance and Grants Manager
Organization: Tanzania Education Network/Mtandao wa Elimu Tanzania (TEN/MET)
Location: Dar es Salaam
Contract: 1 year, renewable
Reports to: Head of Finance and Administration
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial operations, grants management, and compliance.
- Develop budgets, proposals, and donor reports.
- Ensure compliance with donor regulations, IPSAS, GAAP, and Tanzanian laws.
- Strengthen internal grant management and financial systems.
- Oversee subgrants, contracts, and internal controls.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s & CPA/ACPA preferred).
- At least 7 years’ experience in senior finance/grants management (non-profit/international development preferred).
- Strong knowledge of IPSAS, GAAP, donor compliance, and financial systems (Odoo ERP, QuickBooks, Excel).
- Advanced analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
